Learn to
design and develop
more responsibly for the future
Craft Product School is the first product development school focused on designing more ethical and inclusive technology.
Our approach is design meets technology meets social justice, in order to debate, criticise and create products, services and organisations more in line with equitable (Design for Equality) and ecological purposes (Design for Degrowth).

We teach our students how to navigate a product development process, from inception to completion, by asking the right questions, ideating, prototyping and testing.

Design for Equity
Design for Equity is a 6 weeks course during which participants within design, technology and science are prototyping products and services aimed at a more equal workplace, domestic space or digital space.
During the course we'll collaboratively imagine tech products that work towards social, economical and political equality.

You will be guided through a process of storytelling, first by critically looking at what's missing, whose concerns are not being articulated, whose interests aren't being represented, and whose truths aren't being told and secondly, by using speculative tools to tell future stories of equality and inclusion.
Special sessions
We will also hold special sessions with our experts in artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction and product leadership.
Inclusion in product design
What if we stopped seeing inclusion as a nice to have, as a politically correct thing to be checked, but as a source of innovation and growth?
Design ethics
As technology is shaping our future, ethics will play a central role in how society will look like.
Responsible AI
How might we think critically about an AI system, considering its impact on Earth, what the Data that feeds it consists of, and what kind of Labor it involves?

Why product design?
Because having an approach that combines technology, business and design means having the skills of the future. Product knowledge stands at the intersection of technical and business savviness, strategic vision and design. People who are product savvy are better prepared for entrepreneurship, or a leadership career in software management, design or creative direction.
